Call for Pitches!
Pitch Fail Club is going to be one year old in May! So, to celebrate, we are commissioning two short essays from freelance journalists about their first year of pitching.
Yes, Pitch Fail Club is approaching its first anniversary, and we are going big on the celebrations! We want to make space for two short original first person essays on what your first year of pitching was like. It can be recent, or in the past, and from anywhere in the world.
Please send me pitches that include:
summaries of 1–3 pitches that didn’t land with editors.
Any feedback or responses you received that year.
And any other mistakes you made. The bigger the better!
We are looking for up to 600 words and pay 10p per word! So, get pitching your stories to pitchfailclub@outlook.com
Looking to publish two essays Mid-May, so please get your pitch ideas to me by Sunday 3rd May 2026.
